Have a safe word pick characters and behaviors beforehand and don't hold back if you let yourself get completely into it you'll have fun if you try to still act like the ppl you are it'll get really awkward.

I've tried roleplaying incest with my gf before but, even though both of us find it hot, it was impossible to roleplay without being awkward. Possibly because it has less to do with a behaviour and more with the "relative" bond

Accept that its going to be awkward the first few times. Have fun and laugh together. Talk about what both of you want / expect.The more you do it, the easier it'll get, just like any sex stuff you do.

I'd suggest start light, as in just roleplay talk or with a simple scenario, and build up from there.
