I got the Sennheiser HD 598cs when they were discounted. They are very comfortable and have good sound imo if you can get them at a discount I recommend them. /g/ memes about them a lot though but they're good

Well I'm a cheap fuck OP. I just bought a set of Audio Technica ATH a700s off ebay for $30. I saw some of the new AM50s on there too for cheap.
Sometimes there are new old stock ones on the bay if you're freaked out about used stuff.
Keep away from those Beats or whatever those dr dre things are. They're overpriced for the sound you get out of them.
