Is it possible to become religious if you're not naturally

With regards to religion, I'd first like to define terms. There's belief and there's faith. Belief is essentially you say that something is going to happen because the evidence points that way (e.g., I believe the sun will rise tomorrow). Faith is thinking something will happen despite all evidence pointing to the contrary.

Now that my pet peeve is dealt with. Yes, you can choose to believe I'm something, but faith is not really a choice. Either you have faith or you do not. It's possible to be religiously inclined even if you aren't exactly religious.

I think the question you should ask is WHY do you want to invest in a religion? Is it for the community? For the certainty? The security? Just for kicks? That should give you an idea of what you really want.
