Is there anyway I can get myself mentally evaluated by a professional

If you're over 18, then nobody should find out, unless the psychiatrist decides you are a danger to yourself or your family members. If you're under 18, I'm not sure about how that works.

If you're an adult there's no reason they'd find out. The exception is if you're found to not have capacity to make informed decisions about your care, and even then, you can remove consent to your family being contacted.

Your ability to research your own symptoms clearly shows capacity so you'll be fine - but self diagnosing is foolish and googling your symptoms will always lead to some disorder or other that you probably don't have.

So where can I go to get myself checked out? I don't have any knowledge or experience about this. Also, this is why I'm asking, I know self-diagnosing is highly unreliable but when self harm is in play I must have something, right?

Just look up psychiatrists near you. If you have insurance, just give them a call and ask if they accept whatever you have. Then make an appointment.

I'm in UK and we have a number to call where they do 'triage' and pass you onto an appropriate service.

You could just literally walk into ER and ask them to treat your self-harm wounds, and they'll refer you to someone.
