How do I become a family doctor?
I'm currently in a no-name school that has a good degree option in Medical Technology. We get a year long internship doing immunology, hematology, etc in a hospital with pathologists. Once I get a bachelors in Medical Technology, where do I go? How do I pay for it? How difficult is it if I'm not having any problem now?
where do I go?
>med school for four years
How do I pay for it?
>student loans
How difficult is it if I'm not having any problem now?
>lot more difficult, more work, professors have higher expectations

Not sure whats the process in the United States, but I can answer a couple of questions.
You dont really have time to work, so you will need your parents economic help to get you through the career. Dont buy original text books, use pdf or copies. Its tough but if you study enough, plan ahead and are somewhat smart youll get through it. Go for it anon. Medical school is awesome.
Medschoolfag here. I am going to assume you are in US?
First make sure you get prerequisite classes complete. For most schools these tend to be Gen Bio 1&2 + lab, Gen Chem 1&2 + lab, Organic Chem 1&2 + lab, Physics 1&2 + lab, and at least Calc 1. Some want Calc 2 and Biochem as well.

I'm kinda on my own, so I'd have to take out a lot of money to live in an apartment and things, would it still be worth it you think?

I've done all of these except for Calc, my highest is Trigonometry. Should I summer school a calc?

Yes, most med schools in US require at least Calc 1

If you are in US there are federal loans which cover like up to 45k per year. That should cover the cost for most schools. For some of the more expensive ones you may need to take out extra loans, such as the Graduate Plus loan

Don't worry. Since he couldn't even figure out the answers to such rudimentary questions himself, I doubt he will become a doctor.

After you knock out the prereqs you need to take the MCAT. They completely changed the test since I got into med school so I can't help you out here. I would recommend getting a review book or taking a review class to prepare for it, common ones are Kaplan.
Then you need to determine if you are going to apply for allopathic schools or osteopathic schools or both. They use different applications. Osteopathic schools tend to be easier to get into, but you may have a harder time finding a better residency spot after med school. Refer to AMCAS (allopathic, MD) and AACOMAS (osteopathic, DO) to apply
