Hi /adv/, I could use your help
I'm a 21 year old male. What is this on my legs? I got it last year too except it was also on my thighs last year and much more "angry". Doctors gave me antifungal creams, steroid creams, and even yeast infection pills but it stayed more or less the same from around late October to sometime in June.
It is rarely itchy.
Both spots are basically the back of my knee. I never got this before last year.

go back to the doctor.
alternatively you can rub some diesel fuel on it, thats like the old timers answer for this kind of stuff because it kills everything.

What else are they going to do? I even went to a derm and he said "that's no fungus". Well what the hell is it then, man?

I've got something that looks pretty similar except it isn't red. Just dry crinkly skin patch that's been there for two years. Every once in a while i'll mess with it too much and it gets pretty sensitive. Touching it will send an unpleasant sensation up my arm. Other than that there's no pain or itching.
Does that sound like what you have? I suspect mine's some sort of eczema or whatever, like a non contagious skin disease, I don't know anythign about them.
Also do you drink heavily? I'm a little worried it's just general liver fucked.

It may just be dry skin/eczema now that I think about it. I used to get eczema on my hands as a kid but it went away somehow. Last year my legs were much like you describe (except red).
>drink heavily
Last year I was downing a fifth every weekend with some beer on the weekdays, but I don't think that's the cause because I drank way less recently. I actually thought it may have been from my old mattress topper trapping heat and bacteria because I didn't get the rash this year or last year until I took it out.

*I should clarify for my own sake, both times this has cropped up in the fall and gone away in the late spring. Maybe this means it's eczema from dry winter air?

>both times

Mine flares up in the winter, too. And it first showed up when I moved into a house with cats, which I'm allergic to.
Maybe dryness + allergies?
Looks like Erythema Nodosum to me.
