I sometimes get REALLY bad headaches after eating breakfast/brunch, the food can be anything, even something as simple as oats with milk. I have no problems when eating dinner.
Does anyone know what could cause this? It doesnt happen all the time with the same food, and a doctor just sent me to do some bloodtests and then said everything looked OK. She could only suggest generic advice like "drink more water" which hasn't helped at all.
It's causing a huge problem when I get headaches so bad that I'm useless for at least the next hour after breakfast.

YES! Specifically, a doctor would know what could cause this.
You should go see one.

You need to see another dr then or a specialist
No one here is going to be able to diagnose you
You could try changing what you eat for breakfast wildly
Try eating what you'd normally eat for dinner for example or maybe eat a bit less/slower

hi anon. ive had a similar issue. all my tlife. except instead of a headache id get a stomach ache with a minor ehadache.
it seems to me that the pattern is sleepiness. if im sleepy and try to eat it just doesn't go down right. body isn't ready to wake up.
it can help to start your day with something simple. a glass of organic juice, and not even a full glass, just a little bit.
in your case it may be your brain crashing hwen its overloaded with sugar in the morning.

I'm not eating anything particularly sweet though, even something like oatmeal + milk will give me headaches.
I can eat the same thing at dinner and have no problems. Its just the first meal of the day that gives me headaches.

Don't hit your head on the table. You have no beak. You are not a chicken.
