what is wrong with my digestion, adv?

whatever i eat, i get VERY bloated.
i recently had a stomach flue and after recovering, i gently introduced food that i tought wouldn't upset my belly (oats, cooked carrots and sweet potatoes, bananas, cucumbers). i intentionally left out gluten and lactose to see if it would make a difference but nope, 2 days in and my belly is bloated like a balloon again. my doc doesn't take me seriously and just gives me something to fight the bloating (which doesn't work). but i want to know what's the cause for this crap. it hurts, it is embarassing since i have to fart a lot and it looks like shit. not to mention that it makes me very uncomfortable in my body, which has severe effects on my life like not enjoying physical intimacy and so on.

You're just overeating try siting on your hands between bites

i am not. i am counting calories and my normal daily intake is 1500kcals. since the stomach flue i haven't gotten over 800kcal tough...

I Honestly never use to notice bloating as an issue that would affect comfort until I realized it's essentially a person becoming unnaturally fat very temporarily. Then I realized ohshitnigger I get bloated too and in adulthood it's gotten worse as I have developed alot more flatulence over it.

My only cure is fasting as it gets rid of whatever I recently consumed, I maintain by ensuring I eat typical healthy foods and in moderation.

well, i get vloated by earing very little, very non-bloating food, so that's no solution either. i suspect i have some stomach disease or something to be frank...

Go to a doctor and get tested.

This.
Chance you might have a bowel disorder.

Try drinking ginger ale too

Both sweet potatos and cucumbers are considered hard to digest, and it's not uncommon to find people who can't have them at without feeling bad for hours. They're both associated with bloating too. Carrots, bananas and oats are good though leafy greens, lemons and ginger are the easiest for humans to digest.
I would suggest something to clean up your stomatch and intestines, besides going to the doctor.

i did. he didn't take me seriously. i went atleast 4 times aready. i can't change doc. they have no capacity for new patients. i tried...

Do whatever you can to ease your digestion.
Clean up by using some supository during the weekend. Continue eating food as light as you can, specially liquid options. Take Omeprazole or something similar before you eat, and have ginger lemon tea after you do. Keep trying with the doctor, and just try to make things easy for your stomach meanwhile, hoping it will pass on its own.

For the extra nutrition, add honey to it. It's not a life saver, but in your limited calory count, I guess any bit will help.

Do whatever you can to find another doctor or a specialist.

IN the meantime, make changes to your diet to try to pinpoint the culprit. Use a health tracker on your phone or keep a diary to have a catalog of how you feel. Every day write down your energy level, whether or not you bloat, any pain, indigestion, or other bowel symptoms you have.

Then, make a change to your diet. Cut one thing out at a time and see how you feel. Record your results. Then get back on that food and cut out something else. Keep doing this to see if you can pinpoint specific trigger foods. I recommend cutting each one out for at least two weeks, preferably a month.

First, cut out alcohol and carbonated drinks.
Second, cut out wheat.
Third, cut out dairy.
Fourth, cut out junk and fast food.
Fifth, cut out leafy vegetables.

It's likely that one of these is going to be the problem. It's still always going to be better to get the doctor to check, but this is some work you can try on your own.

MAKE SURE you keep the diary or the tracker. You need to keep track of it so you can see how you really feel during the entire duration. If you don't, you'll forget. Have a record.

i already never gonsume carbonated drinks and alcohol.
also virtually no junk or fastfood. so far i was hoping to aboid going completely off on gluten and lactose (i still use the free versions of stuff at home). so i guess i will have to strictly cut them out and see if it helps. damn, i was hoping those are just memes.
i will keep the diary. i already keep a food diary so i can just add notes there. thanks anon!
