i've tried to save so many birds and mices from our cats. they all die because their hearts can't take the near-death experince.
a human way to kill it is to put it in the freezer. it will just doze off and die.

Its going to die unless you take it to a specialized vet and spend like a thousand dollars and even then itll probably die or the vet will put it down.

It cannot survive without a wing bro thats common sense. It will probably die from a heart attack as another anon said. In a day or two it will die from nasty infection because cats have bacteria in their saliva that is fatal to birds so even if it had its wing and got away it would still drop dead.

Just put it down bro. Freezer is kinda rough but i suppose humane. I had to do this once and i opted to dig a hole, place it gently inside, cover it with a dark colored cloth/towel, and smash it with a big rock. Sounds brutal but it is instant, you dont have to see anything, and if you wear earplugs you wont hear anyhing. It will just be dropping a rock and done.

I still felt fucking horrible about it but it didnt have to suffer the agony that is blood poisoning or being eaten alive at least. Sorry anon nature is fucking merciless.

It feel brutal, but it's fast and the best way to go to minimize suffering, as long as you crush the head. You could also try to break the neck by twisting.
