Though gayming disqualifies Chromebooks, almost any other laptop will do then, most do have 8GB either way these days, and even shitty internal GPUs will be fine for it.

rent-to-own is notoriously over-priced. If you can survive saving until you can purchase it, you'll save a ton of money in the long run
