Alright I need some advice.
I'm in community college about to transfer to a university next fall.
I live an hour away from the university I'm attending.
I don't know if I should find an apartment closer to it or if I should just stick here in my hometown.
I mean I'm only gonna be there for a year and a half since I'm finishing early.
I know an hour of commute is long but I don't really feel motivated to finding an apartment off-campus if I'm not gonna be there for 2 full years.

Find a closer apartment, 2 hours of commuting every day will eat your soul. t. Drove an hour each way to university for two years.

1 hour isn't too bad, stop being a pussy. I commute about around 1:40 - 2 hours a day so around 4 hours in total a day.
Closer means more pussy and friends

Do you have friends in your current area or closer to campus? 2 hour daily commute isn't great but you can get in some sick books on tape, bromide.

Well I'm a transfer student whose only option is to live off-campus and I'm only gonna be there for a year and a half.
I'm also introverted as fuck.

I'm going to a hippie campus. UC Santa Cruz. I don't like hairy armpits.

Yeah of course it isn't great but still.
I feel like I'm just gonna waste my time living in an apartment.

>poor people drive long distances all the time
>if you don't, you're a pussy
Or, you're not poor.
Anon, live on campus, it's fun as fuck.
I commute about an hour each day. The financial benefits are completely worth it: I could spend $200 a month on my train pass, or I could spend $200 a week on rent, and expenses on top of that, living closer.

I'm not poor though. I'm just not into the whole college life crap.
And all the transfer students live off-campus anyways.

I know a lot of people who commute an hour+ to school, myself included. It's not bad as long as you stack all your classes on the same day so you don't drive an hour for a single 50 minute class.

So it's not that bad right?
I mean it's only a year.
