Hi /adv/. Long time advice-giver, first time asker.

Anyway... I have this problem.
Whenever I meet a girl I like (it doesn't matter if we actually hooked up or just got to know each other), I jump into the 'liking her' mode head first.

It's happening again, I met a woman, that I barely know, which seemed really nice and gave me a good first impression, and now I'm balls deep into liking her. It's clouding my judgement about it all and I can't even be sure if she likes me back, not the same way I mean. Although it's quite obvious she does enjoy my company (I was about to ask her out and she invited me to go with her to some place).

Then again, I'm so brainstormed right now that I kinda wanna run away... Not sure if I should go to the place (it's not a place I actually like) cuz I dont know what she wants with me...

I'm looking for tips on either going or not, the whole situation, the 'fast liker' issue, or whatever you find fit to me.

Tl;dr -> Brainstormed because I always jump heads first into liking someone. Tips on how to lower the noise in my mind and keep my coolness and calmness.
