No, unless it's something you want to start a career in and you can't get that kind of experience without doing it. And Safeway doesn't sound like the kind of company that will offer you anything like that. You're better off applying in other places while learning something that will help you in whatever career want to pursue. Or simply learn a foreign or programming language, it will probably serve you better than "working" in a store.
