I'm probably going to regret posting this, but I need good advice.

I guess I should start with the basic stuff; I'm a guy, I'm gay and I've been sad and lonely for a little over 2 years now - I thought it was because of my weight, as I used to be a little bit chubby, but I'm as thin as a rail now. So it couldn't be that... Could it be my ridiculously broad shoulders? My lack of feminine curves? I don't know - /adv/ help me out?

What's your type?
If you're a bottom and into older guys being shy isn't that bad.

If you're chasing someone good looking and near your own age you'd better start polishing your game, shy doesn't cut it in a competitive environment.

Its a self esteem issue. The solution is to stop giving a fuck. Your "ridiculously broad shoulders" and "lack of feminine curves" (wtf?) are just a scapegoat for the real issue. The problem is the way you think not the way you are physically.

Read about Cognitive behavioural therapy and try to apply it to your life.
