Okay /adv/ I am having doggo crisis, my dog is currently turning 6 and when he was born his mom stepped on his leg and broke his thump. No one knew so we couldn't get medical treatment. I don't know why but I think our time is getting to end even tho he doesn't look like he's gonna die or even is dying. It may just die earlier because of the thumb. How do I overcome the feeling that my dog will pass away one day?

My doggo of 13 years had to be put down two months ago. My only advice is to not worry about that day coming. Just enjoy every day you have with them.
For the me the fear was experiencing the grief that I knew I was going to feel that day. Just know that's it's to cry and miss your doggo

But how do I not think a out it? Everytime I see him I know he had 1/2 behind him. I just want more time to spend with my dog

Be like your dog and just live in the moment with him

This is kinda deep. I'll take it as a tip. :-) Also is there any way I can make my dog stop growling at me when he's lying down on the couch? I want to hug him but he doesn't wanna. Don't take this as he hates me. He welcomes me home and everything but he just keeps growling at me when I give him too many kisses or just curl yo on him.
