I was in position of a girl and it was driving me crazy when I didn't know. I tried to find the reason in myself I overthought about it like 'am I not enough ...'. well your first mistake is trying to get out there and date right after a breakup, shes just going to be a rebound. but whatever. so she knows somethings wrong now. just be honest. give her a brief explanation and then say something like "but enough about that," and put it behind you and forget about it. have fun, dont think about it, dont even have a conversation about it. talking about other relationships on dates is generally not a good idea.
