To be interesting you've gotta be the "life of the party" so to speak.

For example in a college class you gotta be that guy who keeps asking questions and banters with the professor while entering in your own little humorous quips about the subject at hand. That's interesting.

If you're at work, aim to be mister reliable and freely talk about your hobbies while making sure you have stories to tell and opinions to give. It can be negative,positive or even indifferent just make sure there's some enthusiasm in there. That's interesting.

When doing one of your hobbies,make sure to comment on what's going on,show emotion and attempt to show off your proficiency with it. That's I N T E R E S T I N G

Just be blunt and straightforward with people. May piss some people off, but they know you are a reputable person as a result. In the workplace in general, someone who is a straight shooter and gets to the point is often someone that people know they can work with well enough.
