>habitually sleep 6-7 hours a night
>finally get back to the habit of sleeping 8 hours a night
>day 3, still feeling sleepy and groggy all the time
Why?
6-7 hours is fine. Maybe you should drink more water and eat less shitty food.
Avoid coffee and fapping.

I could tell it wasn't enough, because I almost always ended up napping during my lunch break. I also felt pretty miserable during my commutes. Don't drink coffee, never have been a coffee drinker. I fap a few times a week or less.
If you're in your 20's / early 30's 6-7 hours should be fine. Maybe you just lack motivation at work/studies?
You should avoid taking naps as well. It makes you feel even more groggy and you can't sleep properly at night.

Any ideas what to do on my breaks? They're an hour long, I don't want to eat, and I have no idea what the hell to do so I just started sleeping.

You could take a walk. Bring some music with you. It's good for health and it helps ease your mind.
If you're in an office/indoors just eat something, ffs. Enjoy the food. Also use Tinder or catch up with women. Personally, I'd just read a book.
Whatever you do, use your lunch break to disconnect, not the other way around.
