What is happening /adv/?
I met a girl some weeks ago, we made out a bit and then she said it wouldn't work out because we don't fit together and she broke up with her ex only 2 weeks ago
>I was pretty sad, but well whatever I'll get over it
4 days after that she asks me if I want to watch a movie with her, I say yes
>might as well see what happens
Now, 1 day before the movie, she tells me she has to go to the doctor that day
I ask if she's got time at the weekend
She says she doesn't know
I guess she's emotionally unstable at the moment, but the uncertainty hurts me too. I had already given up the thought of a relationship before until she asked for the movie, now it hurts again.
What should I do?
Yeah, she's probably still wrecked to some degree from the failed relationship. Knew you had some degree of chemistry since she made out with you, and thought at worst you could be a good rebound to pick herself back up.
But maybe got cold feet for one reason or another. If I wanna give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she's a good person, maybe she realized it'd be kinda shitty to use someone like that, especially if they had genuine feelings for her
In all honesty, she's the one who cancelled. Social rule dictates it's her responsibility to reschedule, that's the polite thing to do since she rudely had to cancel (even if for valid reason).
I'd do nothing, and probably just still keep my eye out for other ladies. If she wants you, she'll come to you. You have zero obligation to chase someone who's that wishy washy.
You need to drop this chick.
She's probably using you for validation or something.

OP here, that's really good advice
I'm seeing her anyway every day at uni, I'll just act normal and see what happens

Yeah, do that.
If she's flirting and acting like she's interested in you, you may need to ask her out again or something. Girls like to be pursued and she probably put a lot of work into her last relationship only for it to get fucked.
But if things are just normal, then be cool.
Also, if she is not down for going out, then leave it

Tbh it's frustrating
She's really intelligent, we're both studying physics, and I hoped she wouldn't pull such confusing stuff
I mean why do women do that? Just know what you want and act on it for fucks sake
Sorry for the rant
