What's the likelihood that I'm not a total fuck up and I'm hanging around the wrong people? I can't see anything about myself positively anymore because I'm always sure someone I care about will contradict it or disagree.

how the fuck should I know, I know absolutely nothing about you or your friends

Maybe you shouldn't clutter this board with pathetic teenager questions.

Maybe you should stop making comments about yourself and try commenting on other people.

And why would anyone want to hear self-depreciation? You gather in groups to enjoy each other's company, not stew in self-pity.
And what's more you shouldn't gauge your self-worth on what others say and what you can't accomplish.
If you look at the bad and immerse yourself in it, you're gonna feel rotten.
For me it's:
>make negative comment about my self
>Friends: disagree with me and say that I'm a great person.
>make slightly positive comment about myself
>Friends: ...

Hi,
Are you okay?

I do a lot, actually. I've tried to that more often lately, at least, but it seems to make my friends even angrier ("how the fuck should I know how I'm doing?").
Just get into new circle. They are poison. You will lose yourself in that circle.
