then try to move on to showing friends. me personally, i dont bother showing my wokr to friends. everyones so judgy about stupid shit, everyone thinks their a critic.

I'd say know the person you are sharing it with well, because people react to different things well. For example, I have a friend and we can listen to trippy depressing music, but if I listen to the same music with another friend, he get's all upset and starts talking shit as soon as I leave, because he gets really depressed and has to be an asshole about people behind their backs to make it better.
