As long as the youngest person is 20 (not that 20 is completely mature, but 18 sure as hell isn't imo) I don't care at all. If your dating a 16y/o or less with that gap, I would think the younger person is being very likely being taken advantage of (of course 16y/o me would definitely be fine with a milf).

OP, as long as there are no malicious intentions between any relationship with two consenting adults, then it's fine. Sure, there's going to be a certain flag or so raised when you do X with an 18 year old girl or whatever, but if it's genuine, then there should be no problem whatsoever.

I'm 38 and my gf is 23. It's not an issue if you are generally compatible people. As long as the younger one is mature enough. You will of course need to accept that the younger one will need to let the older one take the lead, and he'll have years of life experience you don't have.

What's the rule? Half your age plus 7?

Personally I think anything above ten years is odd, and an 18 yr old should probably only go up to 23.

The older you both are, the less a gap matters. A 26 year old dating a 13 year old is weird. A 53 year old dating a 40 year old is not.

Maturity matters more than age.
