>Her: hey, will you go out this weekend?
>Me: yep I guess so. You?
>she doesn't respond.
What did she mean by this?
>inb4 she meant you to go out with her, dummy
I ain't american and neither is my countrie's weekend/party culture, I can assure you she didn't mean that.
Your first reply should have put the ball back in her court in a direct way, ie:
>I'm free, want to hang out?
Because you did not show your intent she has no way to reveal her intentions. Women expect men to initiate.

To add, you can still just say what you should have said the first time round.

No way, I said. Shit doesn't work like that here. If two people want to meet on a saturday night, they'll be fine just by knowing that each other will hang with his own crew. In some moment of the night, one of them will text/phone each other like "hey where u at, come to this pub, I'm there". Something like a saturday night date is weird.
She didn't mean anything. She either didn't feel like continuing the conversation or she got sidetracked and forgot about it.
>I can assure you she didn't mean that.
>No way, I said. Shit doesn't work like that here.
So you're already sure she means nothing with it. Why ask the question here then?

Can you read? What I'm sure about is she doesn't mean to exclusively hang with me this weekend, because no one in my country ever goes out on a saturday night exclusively with another guy or girl. I already know what she didn't mean, but I still don't know what she meant.

Ask her. We're not magicians.
