I'm starting a YouTube channel, but I don't want to use my real voice. The voices I make in MorphVOX and Speakonia all sound like voices I've heard elsewhere on the internet, and I want to have my own unique identity. Any ideas?

Just use your voice. What are you afraid of?

Kiwi Farms, Encyclopedia Dramatica

Thats the risk you take. Embrace your own identity.

Nice trips, but I don't want to take that risk. I'm much too vulnerable.
If it's a gaming channel please, please kill yourself.

Nah, it's a movie review channel that might also have some political discussion.

You sound like a killjoy if you actually think that's a good idea

Honestly I think you should use your own voice if it's not a comedy/goofy thing.

you need thick skin and a sense of humor if youre gonna put yourself out there. show business is all an act and if you get too emotionally invested it will eat you alive
Don't do it OP, you'll only attract an audience of small kids. Try useing your own voice in some test videos before, and when you're ready and you think you sound good enough, make the actual video and upload it.
If you're really just starting on youtube, you won't have too much of a feedback, positive or negative anyway.
Post the link to your channel here if you want

Most videos would be full of dumb jokes because I like making them.

Well, yeah, I can handle criticism. I can't handle being doxed. And I'm far more easily doxable than most people.

I don't really care what kind of audience I attract, I just want to put myself out there without too much ruckus.
The test videos are a good idea, though!
