Hey /adv/, college decision thread
Im not sure what to get a degree in, and i was hoping i could get some input from you guys. Im a huge people's person, talking to people with whatever they want, and would love to do something media related. What degrees should i consider?
STEM. Unless you like gambling, as non-STEM degrees are a massive gamble.

Any stem jobs that let me talk to a lot of people and make decent momey?
Listen, I'm now working as an Accounts Manager at a pretty big television and radio broadcasting media company in Canada. Marketing, Advertising, anything around that area might be good for you. Try a business degree actually. I didn't go to university but I worked super hard to get where I am and I've been loving it for the past 3 years. And it's looking like things will be getting even better for me soon, so just work hard and meet a lot of new people. Make business cards early. You'll want people to be able to contact you.

Great, thanks for the advice anon!
Like >>17740446 said, something commerce-y would be good. Possible something like finance and banking even. STEM is a meme (inb4 'STEM is a meme meme') - won't a) guarantee you a job and b) won't let you be the people's person that you are.
