Go see the teacher- they have more power than they let on. or whatever councilors you might have and see what your options are. They MIGHT work with you if you show an earnest interest in passing the course.

That's the thing, I actually do do all the homework and study hard and shit, and generally do fine on quizzes (mid 80s to mid 90s usually). I'm just a really terrible test taker. I had this problem last year too, where my finals brought down my GPA, but I tried to step my game up this year and thought I did better, though that doesn't seem to be the case.

Incidentally, I recieved a 90 and 80 on two other midterms, the latter I wasn't as concerned about because it was my lowest priority test and I knew I could make it up.
