I honestly think that anyone who literally can't live without 4chan will be the ones who benefit the most if 4chan ever closed down. Which it won't.

2 years is fucking nothing and if 4chan is troubling you then shit is gonna remain the same with or without 4chan, you got issues deeper than just a website and it's just gonna be replaced by something else.

Personally, I think this whole thing is just a pretext to shut down /pol/ and /r9k/, as a prelude to attracting investors. Even the sale to Hiroyuki may have been part of the show, designed to put a literal ocean between (most of) the cancer and the man who would be seen as responsible for taking away their hugbox.

But on the off chance that this site does die, there are plenty of other advice boards, and even other chans. I might even take a stab at writing my own.
