Her bio says she's only on tinder for friends. That's fine, I'm not that thirsty.
What I don't get is how this is supposed to progress?
Does she just want a texting buddy? Am I supposed to hang out with her?
Most of my group moved for college/school so I really only hang out with two guys I've known forever and the idea of getting new friends is somewhat appealing but how?

just talk as you would in person, simple dude
ask her if she wants to meet up at a cafe or something, sounds like she's interested.

Chirst how nu-male do you look that she would send that message to you? Hit the gym bud.

This is easy. Just text her. Get to know her. If at one point meeting seems like a normal thing to do, do that.
She swiper you because she liked something about you. You swiped her because you want to fuck women. You dont get to fuck most women, so at the moment she's just like most women, apart from the fact that she might want to socialise with you.
So far, so good.
Now, for the fun part: Women change their mind about things. Who's to say, she might want to fuck you one day anyway, but for now just be a texting buddy. It's fun getting people to open up to you. You gain a friend at least. Worse case scenario is that she figure she doesn't like you or vice versa.

I really just use tinder as time waster, and dont message or pursue any of the matches I get.
I broke off a long term relationship back in february, then my dad died in july, so ive been in kind of a funk for a while.
I do feel like I need to get out of my house more, and expanding my friend group via new friends would help.
