You can read books and articles on your phone. Listen to music too, although downloading or organizing it is a pain. And watching chinese cartoons. Oh and talk/write to other people. Ideally meet with them for something that doesn't need any cash like fucking or exploring the city.

If your phone can run them, there's tons of games out there. Final Fantasy Mobius is pretty damn good, better than most other mobile games I've tried.

Get books from the library, see if there's any sort of sponsored events or festivals in your town (if you bring your own lunch and drink, you don't have to pay anything). Learn to draw, write a novel or some poetry or just anything you want. Sing, dance, watch youtube tutorials to pick up a new skill.
