I just found out that a mid term I wrote two and a half weeks ago went unrecorded, I have a mark missing. I have a second midterm in about a month and finals are still two months. I sent a TA a high priority email about it but there's no indication when I'll get anything back. So that's..great.
I don't really know what anyone here could say to help me at all, I just felt I had to say it.
How in the world did it go unrecorded?

That's what I'm wondering. I went to check it on the school site after completing a different assignment for the same class but unrelated to it, and it simply isn't there. Not even a zero, it just isn't there. It must be some sort of administrative error.

Have they marked it? Ask your friends if their marks are on their pages.

My friends have confirmed they've gotten their marks, they have gone out. However, despite being in the class list and the test being completed, I do not have a zero or an incomplete. My mark simply isn't there. No sort of notification or recording whatsoever.

Then it's probably just an admin error, or an error with the system. Just wait for the reply.

My biggest concern is if the test wasn't entered because the test was physically lost or something, and the possibility of having to do some sort of retest.

I promise you, if your university is a university worth going to, they have ways of dealing with things like lost tests in a way that doesn't cause you any detriment

Go to the prof's office and ask in person.

+1
Send an email / phone call = get fobbed off and ignored until it's convenient.
Make an appointment and sort shit out in person.
