How do I convince my parents to let me adopt a cat.
I have wanted one for a long time now, probally my entire life. But the urges have been uncontrollable lately after my cat got him a cat.

If your parents don't want a cat, it's probably because they don't want an animal in their house. It sucks but those are the rules. When you have your own place you can get your own cat.

Ops meant when my friend got him a cat. I really can't do anything whatsoever? Alright I wanna move out then. How easy is it to find an apartment that lets you have cats

How old are you? If you have the ability to move out now, why don't you?
If you hardly have the means to support yourself, is getting a cat really important? I really want a dog but I know that'll have to wait awhile

Depends on where you live, but not that easy. Easier than finding a place that allows dogs, but most places have a no pets ban

I'm 18 lol, I am currently jobless but that's because I gave up looking. Mainly because I had no motivation to work/ didn't really need the money for anything.

So get a job, save money for an apartment (maybe move in with a friend) and get a cat?
Or, offer to pay half the rent of your parents home in exchange for them letting you get a cat + freedom to come home as late as you want and bring people over (although that probably won't go over well)
You're nesting.
