Reach out to someone, thats all it takes, if you're alone like you say rejection won't change your circumstances. You must have people in your past that you socialised with, see what they're up to, how their life is going etc.

Friends are only a thing up until about 21, which is why people are allowed to drink after that. You learn, very quickly, that money is pretty much everything. If you're not working or putting whatever time you have after a certain point into making more of it, you're going to fall off. No one has time for personal connections at this point because all effort and focus has to be put toward "bills". Weather it's rent or utilities or groceries or drugs, now everything is money and making sure you have a consistent flow of it so that you don't go under and become homeless. This is the real terrorism that is played on people; too afraid to take a chance anymore because you only have them when you're young and your parents can pay to fix whatever mistake you made.

You can't make mistakes as an adult without risk of losing everything and every possible "friend" is a risk. Risk of someone who could rob, hurt, or betray you like they prove to do, A LOT. Are those risks you're willing to take when one bad move could set you on the trail to homelessness?

Didn't think so. Go back to work, take selfies, eat your fast food and shut the fuck up.
