for my 18th birthday i invited all 8 of my friends, two showed up. there wasn't anythign planned. i think we roasted marshmallows at that point i remember that. but it was mostly just chill. it was also my going away party unfortunately.

thats the thing is its YOUr birhtday. so unless hanging out at your place would be 'unbearable' in any sense of the word, then it doesn't matter. if you're haivng a good time, everyone else is having just another monday. they dont care if its epic or great, cuz its not THEIR birthday.

also just ask your friends if you can go. it sucks you'r enot popular enoug hwith your own friends that they wont take you to a party.

my 18th was recently as well. i went to a nice french restaurant with my parents and brother like i do every year. it's simple but really really nice. i have social anxiety so the thought of a large thing on my birthday gives me anxiety and doesn't sounds fun. just do what feels fun to you
