I'm no behavioral expert or anything, but maybe it is you envying the men that got action from them. If so, I think it's natural. It's also not obvious because (if we assume you envy the men) you misidentified what you really are bothered. It's probably some sort of instinctual reaction that didn't completely disappear, and therefore it's an unconscious process that's hard to observe and evaluate. We're still animals after all...

Don't take what I said as complete truth, I don't know for sure and a lot of it might have been speculation. However, if I am right, then just recognize that it's an irrational feeling. I can relate to it but I'd avoid it having an affect on how I treat people because that kind of an instinctual response is not very relevant in today's world. But, again, that's only my opinion.
