kinda. i had 1200 and the promise of more money coming via student loans.
got a studio apartment in los angeles for 550 a month, paid first and last up front and had 100 to spend on bus and food until the loan money came in.

it wasnt impulsive or romantic but i did that around 5 or 6 months ago. im still the same dude though, location doesnt make much difference unless its an extremely drastic change

Sort of, but I had 10,000. If you are confident you can secure a job, any job, within a few weeks to a month, go for it. Otherwise...maaan. It is feasible if you move by car and plan to live in the car, though.
