Ok so I plan to go to school this spring to become an Accountant.

How okay are you with being bored for 40+ hours a week for the next 40+ years?

Do you enjoy accounting? You'll be able to find work, but it's a tough program and if you don't at least have somewhat of an interest in it you'll have a tough time

Then don't do it. Accounting isn't a very versatile major, it's very much the sort of major where you can do just one thing with it.

1. Potentially make a lot of money
2. You will always be in demand
3. Mastery of tax avoidance

>Cons
1. Potentially very mechanical and repetitive
2. Not a versatile major
3. People will assume you're incredibly boring

Obviously you need a vocation for math and some kind of interest in a thing if you don't want to go crazy. If you're not sure I would not suggest it.
