My family bought me a ticket for a cruise a few months back without asking me and now I have no choice but to go. We're boarding tomorrow. I'm scared shitless of boats. How do I stay safe on a cruise? Will I enjoy it?

Like "panic attack" afraid of boats? Or like passively nervous about the idea?
I suggest getting drunk, swimming, tanning, and trying to have a good, relaxing time away from work and all the bullshit.
It's a vacation, don't let the idea of a boat get in the way of your happiness.
Who knows, maybe this will be a great moment for you in your life - you'll discover you really have a passion for boats.

Boats are more afraid of you than you are of them. Maintain eye contact and don't show any signs of weakness. Good luck.

this, and in the future, don't let your family guilt-trip you into feeling forced to do things. you do have a choice whether to go or not, you just don't like the alternative.

General anxiety. Will I be safe? Will I get Zika? Etc etc
This isn't important but I'm also scared of random people thinking I'm ugly and torturing me because of it. That's always been a fear of mine though.
I'm just a homebody. I hate non cozy vacations. I'm more of a camping in Upstate New York during winter kind of person.

OP here responding again. My family members aren't the kind of people one could relax around. They actually make my anxiety and stress levels rise.
dramamine for motion sickness
Good luck, just think about the fun you can have and don't worry about bad things until they actually happen. Then if anything bad does happen let it place and do something fun to replace that bad/sad feeling
