How to make friends?
I just find it hard to talk to people, mainly because I feel like someone I meet won't like my interests, or that it'd clash.
I browse /jp/. 'Nuff said.

First try to find interests, it will get you friends.

One of my interests was metal music, 5 years ago I started going to concerts and I met great people that I hang out with even up to this day.

Apply for some courses in something, for example dance. I suppose you won't even think about it but imagine what could bring you people, joining a dance group or playing some faggot moba in your room.

So seriously, find some courses, cooking, playing football, team activities will get you friends. Walking around the town won't.
You don't even have to become actualy friends with people, you could always suggest a drink after X activity.
