A few things:

The whole premise is dumb. Not many people care enough to keep even one, let alone multiple breakup texts on their phone, even if people didn't switch phones once ever 1-2 years -- even IF they were broken up to through text instead of vocally like regular human beings.

Also, it's very clear this happened to you recently, which is literally the only reason you are fanny flustered enough to bother making this thread.

Anyway, I think I only had one relationship end via text, and it went something like this:

I dont know what triggers people to give their s/o hope in a relationship that theyre going to break off anyway.

I deleted our entire conversation history as soon as we were finished talking and I realised she'd blocked me, so I don't have it.
