I've used coconut oil as lube. It smells and tastes nicer than astroglide. But I've been using the latter more, since it stays slick longer.

A friend of mine uses coconut oil exclusively. They're in love with it. They've used it for a long while. At least a year.

I suggest spooning some out into a cup, and then scooping it out of the cup with your hands. Avoid hand into the jar, because that will introduce bacteria and it'll go bad quicker. I occasionally refrigerate my coconut oil, but it's not exactly necessary.

Don't get tricked into getting a big jar. It takes a long time to get through it.
