Hey /adv/

Building a computer and I am stuck on monitor.

Is 1080p resolution enough for 24'' monitor or should I get 1440p for 24'' monitor?

Is 1920 x 1080 enough for 24'' or do I have to buy 2560 x 1440?

I thought 4k was the new standard.

If you don't care about 4k though, 1080 will be fine. I use it for my 22' and everthing is crisp and clean.

1080p is perfect for a 24" monitor.

1440p and 4k are very, very expensive, and to be frank, I don't recommend it since it's still somewhat newer technology, not supported by most software or games. Especially 4k.

1080p is perfect for the state of technology at this time. Go for it.

1440p is pretty standard now. All new games support that resolution and they aren't super pricey either. Really depends on your gpu tho.
