So I fucked up today. One of my contacts was feeling a bit out of place and so I tried to move it by pressing down on my eyelid and I tore the contact in half while it was in there. My fault for taking a hot shower and not using eye drops.
So now I'm without contacts until my next shipment comes in which isn't for another week or two. I don't have glasses to use in the meantime.
Do any optometrist stores carry specific prescriptions or do they not have any until requested to order some in? Mine is -3.0 or -3.5
I wanna know so I can know if it's worth going around to every optometrist in town.
I could've prevented this. Now I'm blind for two weeks.
Can someone at least recommend me a good sci-fi book? I'm short sighted so the only thing I can really enjoy is a close up book for the next two weeks

'Contact' by Carl Sagan has an interesting idea behind it.
I might give it a read, to be honest Senpai.

Have you read the space hitchiker's guide to the galaxy ? That's a great sci fi book

Very clever, Anon. I'll put that on my list.

I've actually already got my head buried in it. Second time reading it and it's great. Is the rest of the series any good?
Go to your optometrist and see if they can help you.
And get some glasses made in the meantime for emergencies like this. Every person who wears contacts or glasses should have a spare pair of glasses.
