Hey guys.
I rent out a townhouse and fell through my rear deck's flooring last night. I didn't really suffer any injury, just a scraped elbow. How should I go about possibly milking this situation? I've spoken to the property manager and he's aware that I didn't need medical attention, although to put a little pressure on them, I did lie and say I had a bit of an ankle sprain as well. What should I do? I figure at the very least, I'll use this opportunity to get on his and the owner's good side by not coming off as a sue-happy problematic resident and admitting outright I don't need medical attention (I really don't and it would be clear to the doctors). They acknowledged that the deck is in bad shape already and are planning on taping mine and my neighbor's decks off for repairs.

>dont tell anyone yet
>get drunk and fall again tonight
>scrape yourself up a little, maybe a splinter
>call any personal injury lawyer in the phone book when you get home
>go to small claims
>?????
>hopefully profit
Most personal injury lawyers will do it for free unless they win you money. My girlfriend works in a law office and tells me how people like you do that shit all the time
