>wake up
>go to class at uni
>be social in class, people generally like me, have a good time in class
>leave class, go to water ski club
>we're all friends there, but don't socialize much because water ski
>go back to dorm, browse 4chan and study for rest of evening, never see friends outside of class or club, don't go to any parties or events, don't even hang out with other people in the dorm
>asleep by 12
>wake up, repeat until weekend
oh shit, it's the weekend
>sleep in
>stay in dorm and watch youtube and play vidya, nobody invites me to do stuff, roommate is always gone
I've lost 5 pounds because I don't want to eat alone. Am I a recluse? I have no idea how to make plans and be social outside of class. What do college-age people like to do? How do I find the parties?
Just talk to people around you about mutual interests and in general be friendly to them. People like you more if your nice to them
Bump for similar interests.
Havent found a solution, but try getting into a more social club too. Besides frats and roommates I've yet to find another answer (and I don't have roommates)
The reason is people have already formed their cliques and groups while you were on your own. So it is unlikely that they will invite you unless you yourself take the initiative and work your way in.
Where I study normal people go to parties, drink too much, never study, are always broke, fail their subjects or have bad grades and all people that stay are some few gifted or diligent people, that have no other choice as to socialize with eachother.

I just can't tell who's going to be fun to be around. Supposedly my school is a huge party school but I haven't seen or heard a single party since I got here.
