My boyfriend of 3 years has recently lost a lot of weight for unknown reasons. My type has always been chubbier men, but when I met my boyfriend (who is a thin man, even was back when we met) I still found him attractive. However, he has recently lost A LOT of weight and he has become less attractive to me. I am shallow, but not shallow enough to leave him over it. My biggest problem is touching him is physically painful. He has sharp points sticking out everywhere. Not just during sex, just hugging, or even if his elbow brushes mine, it feels like a knife. It makes me less attracted to him again.
No matter how much he eats he just loses more weight. He is still young, so I am hoping it might sort itself out with age. I just don't know what to do. How do I tell him to see a doctor about it without looking like an asshole? How do I tell him he hurts me without looking like an asshole? How the hell do I get him to gain weight again??

what for real? he's only 25

Sudden weight loss is always medical and most often cancer
Testicular cancer is 'common' in under 30 men

If he lost a lot of weight without trying yeah, thats serious
>>17585766
Age has no bearing on cancer, go to the doctor ASAP.

He has a testicular cancer scare before, did a test, got the clear. Also Testicular cancer only kills 1% of men who get it, its not that serious

He is not on a diet at all, he's been eating MORE

He has hypochondria, if I run in saying go to the doctor he'll physically rip his hair out. I have no idea what to do.

OP stated he is eating as he always has
That man is sick, no doubt, sudden weight loss is medical, no doubt, OP's boyfriend should see a doctor, no doubt
