I think you are here talking about your potential children's father being protective of your child and the probability that you would feel jealous to the point you wish to end the relationship means that you have a mental health problem.

I'm not saying this for shits and giggles but one of our primal instincts is to seek out who we deem to be a strong male capable of protecting us and our lineage and if you find that off putting them you are quite literally fucked in the head.

My fiance is the same way, he grew up with three brothers and a single mom. He has major respect towards women, and has really been hoping for a daughter in future.
He's already made it clear that he's going to spoil and protect this imaginary daughter he's created in his head, I find it to be really sweet.
Just cross that path when the time comes, you guys aren't actively trying for kids or engaged- you have plenty of time to have this conversation without it ending in a jealous fight. Never know if you'll end up having a boy.
