How old are you OP? I'm basically you, though I have a roommate I have very little in common with. It's basically like living alone. I work full-time and hit the gym as well to kill time. I've slowly begun going out alone- for a drink, a meal etc.

I'm 21. It sucks I had severe social anxiety in high school so I never made friends. I made some friends when I got my first job and even moved In with two of my coworkers. My confidence was improving and I actually enjoyed life for a bit. Then I got hired at a better paying job and moved out and they stopped hanging out with me. Shit sucks.

Just moved in to my university room yesterday anon, the people in my corridor are quiet which is nice but they don't seem like they want to be friends. Last night I watched everyone in other flat/apartment blocks going out to an event and drinking and having a blast. I hope I make some friends today
