I'm turning 21 the 2nd of October. I was thinking to make a party or something. Only thing is i'm not exactly a party person. I mean, it's not like i'm an outcast or something like that, i often go out with friends but i have no idea what to do. How should i organize it? Should i rent a party room or make it at my place? What about alcohol? What are some good activities to make everyone have fun?
Another bump

What about a meal? They're pretty easy to book, they get everyone in the same place and you don't have to worry about renting a space or buying booze or whatever because everyone pays for themselves. Then afterwards you can go out drinking nearby or something.
I did that for my 22nd and had a good night. I actually hated my 21st because I felt too old so my friends just dragged me kicking and screaming to a pub for the night.
As for organizing it, I'd make a fb event or a group chat maybe 2-3 weeks in advance.
that feel when I thought about making a birthday party and inviting my uni friends but I remembered that I already tried to invite them for a beer earlier during the holidays and it didn't work out and it would feel so much worse if they didn't come to my birthday
also I could only message them on facebook since i got a new phone and forgot to copy the numbers

Would it work with a nice amount of people? (18-20 persons)
