Is there really a point to going to school anymore?
All my life I've been prodded and pushed to get good grades and excel in anyway possible because apparently I have potential. However, over the past summer, I have been slapped in the face with the realization that I am completely average. I have no real potential. I have no work ethic, mediocre grades, and no notable skills. I'm destined to work at a low paying service job for the rest of my life. So why should I try? Shouldn't I focus on enjoying my life while I can?

Son, go down to skid row and ask me if here's any point to school. If those people had a chance to do it all over again they would be in school.
Back where I'm from we have a saying. Don't wait until night falls to set up your bed
But I don't care what kind of life I have?
I'm a piece of shit anyways so I really don't care either way.
I understand that I have a lot of opportunities that others don't, but I really don't care what kind of future I have.
Edgy as fuck. You'd probably change your mind if someone cut off your internet, nevermind an actual hit to your quality of living.

Damn son. You're probably right. Maybe that's what I need.

Thanks Dr. Phil
I went through a phase like this to. Just give yourself a purpose. I realized the only real point in life for me is to have children and a family. Can't have that with some poorfag job right? You don't need to make 200k a year to do well. Make some goal for yourself or get a hobby that makes you happy and aim for like trade school or something. College is a ruse 70% of the time

If you don't care either way then go with the best option not the lazy one. Chances are in 20 years you'll care and be glad you did.
