You need to understand that it's a job. Billions of people have worked jobs. I think you're a smart capable young man. You'll do fine at this job.
Welcome to the working world son.
Be polite, dress well and always smile
Do things like simple maths in the mean time to make sure you don't fuck up
Familiarize yourself with the vocabulary used at the workplace

furthermore, if shit ever hits the fan (a client gives you a rough time without a reason - or even if he has one, heh) remember to be CALM and POLITE, no matter what.
If trouble comes up and it looks bigger than you, politely and calmly inform any higher-up who oughta be dealing with said problem asap. Don't ever panic.
No one cares, gimme food

I personally manage $24 million dollars of a company's budget. If I can do it, you can manage a couple hundred bucks in a register, believe me.

How old are you?
Anyway, congrats.

It's just because it's unknown to you, that's why you're anxious. You GOT this, yo. Once you get there, just smile a lot, be friendly, and get involved, you'll master it in no time.

I'm impressed that you remember Good Burger then.
Remember that it's your first job, and everybody has a first day/week/month.
You're learning, so try and go easy on yourself. Do your best, ask questions if you're not sure about something. Always ask questions.
Personally when I started working at my current job (first job ever as well), every couple weeks I would ask my boss if I'm doing alright, and if there's anything she thinks I could do better.
She always said that she thought I was doing totally fine.
